360 degree camera

This was a project to construct a camera that captures 360 degree
panoramic images. It uses some magic to capture the images.

Book Reading Robot

It's a fun project I worked on for about a year and a half
at Hopkins. Initially it was made out of nothing but legos,
although now most of the mechanics are build from
pneumatic cylinders. A $100,000 system for $100.

Magic Eye Decoder

Can't see magic eye images? Just use this matlab script
to extract the depthmap from a magic eye image. I also
have magic eye generators for matlab & flash 8 respectively.

Genetic Algorithm Demonstration
(demo)
Given a certain wind direction and power, there is a certain
optimal sail angle and steering angle for maximizing the speed
of a sail boat. This simulation assumes that these optimal
solutions are a quadratic function, and uses a genetic
algorithm to parameterize the coefficients.
